Hi Katie,

I'm in Southern Ontario as well. I've been sprouting the same way you have for years. I even do it on backpacking and canoeing trips.

A really great Canadian site for ordering your seeds is www.sprouting.com and there is some great information there as well.

The weather has been annoyingly inconsistent around here lately, so I've been alternating between summer dresses and pea coats, much to my dismay. Warm food definitely is a good way of wishing away the cold weather. I hope that your kitchen adventures end well. I find that things tend to go wrong if I try to do too much at once. I am a sadly single-minded person sometimes. =P

This looks very excitingly autumnal. I may need to make some to remind myself that, in spite of the weather, it's not quite winter. I think I might just be able to manage cooking it as well, although I'll probably manage to fuck it up somehow. The kitchen and I are will probably good friends. I hope all is well with you.

I hope you eat them raw, that's my favourite way of eating them. Just add a bit of salad dressing to the sprouts for a splash of flavour. I also love to use sprouts instead of lettuce for any sandwich. Sprouts have so much more flavour than lettuce. Great to see they turned out well! :)

I like this recipe! I didn't have some of the stuff, like the maple syrup actually, but I have cooked up the quinoa as specified and dumped in blueberries and raspberries and it is a great way to begin the day:) Thanks!

So I was positively gleeful when I headed over here and found that, to my surprise, you're still posting. Huzzah!

I navigated here having just downloaded Chrome and currently in awe of its ability to make shiny pictures shinier. And my, that bok choy is positively effervescent.

I ate just that before catching my bus the other weekend!

It was, indeed, my best meal of the trip (and yes, we had about 7 different meals in our 1.25 day timespan).
